The Fireside Chats series is now on its second year! Following a very successful first year, Mount Saint Vincent University’s Business & Tourism Department’s (virtual) Fireside Chat series will kick-off this year’s webinars on Tuesday, September 28 with its first event at 6 p.m. AT. It Features online addresses by high-profile entrepreneurs, managers, government officials and CEOs working in business and tourism in Canada.
Presented by MSVU’s Business Administration and Tourism & Hospitality Management Department, these virtual seminars will provide exceptional additional learning opportunity for MSVU Business & Tourism students.
The first event will feature governance and leadership guru and entrepreneur Deborah Rosati, the founder and CEO of Women Get on Board. It is a based social purpose company that connects, promotes and empowers women to corporate boards. She is an award-winning champion of business corporate governance and of women in governance, and a sought-after speaker and advisor.
Deborah currently serves as a member of the board of directors of TAAL Distributed Information Technologies (an enterprise blockchain transaction processor) and Khiron Life Sciences (a global cannabis medicinal company). She previously served as Vice-Chair and Chair of the Audit Committee of Lift & Co. Deborah is the founder and CEO of Women Get on Board, a member-based social purpose company that connects, promotes and empowers women to corporate boards.
