The Halifax Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Support Webinar Series, “Advisory Boards & How They Accelerate Your Growth” on September 9, 2021 10:00 am-11:00am. This webinar will explore timely topics with industry experts to provide key insights and answers on the best ways to succeed as a business. This series will also feature a wide range of topics on how to survive and thrive.
The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) had a research study examining a sample from the BDC database of 28,000 medium sized Canadian firms (SMEs) and the resulting effectiveness of using an advisory board to increase their productivity & profitability.
The presenters will share their assessment and recommendations on the research study. One of them is Owen Sagness, Chief Executive and Advisor C-Level Executive Solutions, who specializes in growing revenue and profit by transforming organizations through culture and innovation.
Another presenter is Colin Mason, Chief Marketing Associate C-Level Executive Solutions. Mason has built a wide-ranging and significant career in marketing and strategic management. His background and experience are uniquely broad and diversified, and yet practically based with roots in sales, advertising media, agency consulting and marketing.
In this webinar, they will learn more about what an advisory board is and why they should create one for their business. They will also assess entrepreneurs’ readiness for an advisory board. Lastly this webinar will guide them on how to create an advisory board.
