On November 4-7 will be the Nova Scotia Music Week which is a public music festival and B2B music industry conference that celebrates the music of Nova Scotia. An event for music lovers where you can celebrate the province’s diverse and vibrant music scene with tons of local talent performing in venues throughout downtown Truro.
Halifax’s largest holiday craft fair, Christmas at the Forum, will take place over 5 consecutive weekends starting November 5-7; and tickets can be purchased online by date. It is a holiday tradition since 1978, a visit to the forum this weekend will definitely get you in the holiday spirit!
On November 7, The Stadacona Band and guest Indigenous artist DeeDee Austin are proud to present their Veterans’ Week Concert – ‘When Duty Called’. Admission is FREE but pre-registration is required.
You can also commemorate Remembrance Day at The Halifax Citadel National Site on November 11. The admission is FREE to both the site and the Army Museum. The 1st Field Artillery Regiment will fire a 21-gun salute at 11:00 am, followed by the noon gun.
The 26th Annual Saltwire Halifax Parade of Lights is back! On November 20, don your mittens, hats, and glow sticks! Enjoy the parade and a visit from the Jolly ol’ Fella!
