Halifax Burger Week
Enjoy a 10-day Burger Bash from April 28 – May 7 from over 140 participating local restaurants all throughout HRM! Halifax Burger Bash is a city-wide burger-eating phenomenon and fundraiser for Feed Nova Scotia put on by The Coast. Creative burger offerings either have a set price of $7, or a higher price with the restaurant making a donation to Feed Nova Scotia from every burger sold.
Family Discovery Concert Series
The Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts presents its Family Discovery Concert Series! This concert series will take you around the world as you discover new songs, stories, sounds, and dance.
The Maritime Conservatory is Halifax’s home of professional music and dance instruction. They help you discover and build a life of creative movement and expression, or start a professional career, at any stage of life and for any stage you dream to be on. Head to the Lilian Piercey Concert Hall, 6199 Chebucto Road, Halifax this May 1st. The show will start at 2:00 pm and the best part is, the show is FREE!
Stars on Ice
Since 1986, Stars on Ice has been delighting and entertaining families by bringing together the most talented and famous Olympians and National Skating Champions to tell stories on the ice.
After missing two seasons due to the pandemic, Stars on Ice is bringing figure skating back to its loyal fans across Canada following the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China. The 2022 Stars on Ice tour will be co-headlined by skating icons Kurt Browning and Elvis Stojko, and will feature many of the country’s top skaters including Olympic and World Medalists Kaetlyn Osmond, Jeffrey Buttle and Kaitlyn Weaver & Andrew Poje and social media sensation Elladj Baldé. Plus, direct from competing at the Olympic Games will be 2022 Canadian Champions Piper Gilles & Paul Poirier, Kirsten Moore-Towers & Michael Marinaro and more! Watch them this Friday at Scotiabank Centre, 1800 Argyle St, Halifax at 7:30 pm.
Halifax Wanderers FC Home Opener
Great news for the football fans because this Saturday, the Halifax Wanderers FC is back! Cheer them on as they hit the field in their season-opening home match at the Wanderers Grounds. Bring your game faces as the newest team in the Canadian Premier Soccer League, your Halifax Wanderers, host FC Edmonton at their home in the heart of our city. Let’s support them and be at the Wanderers Grounds before 3:00 pm!
