Cole Harbour Recreation Centre
Start your active & healthy activities this weekend and join the Cole Harbour Recreation Centre staff for a free family fitness class. Their facility also has meeting room, activity room, multi-purpose room, kitchen facilities, two bathrooms with showers, registration office, and community developer office. They are located at 1216 Cole Harbour Road Cole Harbour, NS.
Emera Oval
Enjoy a free family event this Saturday at the Emera Oval starting at 11:00 am. The event features Glow inflatables and other fun family activities! Regular activities and equipment lending will resume after the special event.
Findlay Community Centre
Have a free Nature Adventure program for your kids at the Findlay Community Centre in Dartmouth. Let your kids participate in a variety of fun outdoor activities with an emphasis on nature-based play including park exploration, arts & crafts, games, learning about nature, and plenty of physical activity.
They are located at 26 Elliot Street, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The program will start at 10:00 am. Please come to the program dressed for the weather in warm clothes, and bring a backpack with extra socks, mitts, a full water bottle, and small or medium sized notepad/sketchpad with a pen or pencil.
Sports, Games, & Activities
For your kids who love playing sports and physical activities you have two awesome choices. You can head to Musquodoboit Harbour Recreation Centre and Library located at 7900 Highway 7, Musquodoboit Harbour, and let your kids enjoy free sports, games, and activities running from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. The Rec Van will be on site in the Community Centre backyard to celebrate Rec Day!
You can also visit Sackville Sports Stadium at 409 Glendale Drive, Lower Sackville for activities that you can also enjoy! Fun activities include intro to boxing, cardio and weights demo, Arts & Crafts activities, Zumba, and many more RecDay games! Head to their stadium from 9:00am to 1:00 pm!
