It gives me great pleasure to welcome APEX East Coast Business Magazine. This exciting new venture is the creation of John Copp and Lawrence Conrad, the Publishers of the magazine. John Copp has supported the Business 2 Business sector within the marketing and communications industry for more than 25 years and is the principle at Creative Curve Media Group Inc. Lawrence has been in the security and secure delivery sector for many years through his companies Independent Security Services Atlantic and Independent Armoured Transport Atlantic.
APEX magazine is about celebrating the ups and downs of businesses throughout Atlantic Canada, telling their stories, highlighting their successes, and recognizing the challenges they’ve overcome. This contemporary publication supports diversity and culture, and is a brand where ethics is key.
Published bi-monthly, Apex is about celebrating Atlantic Canada. Each issue will feature a business from all four Atlantic Provinces. The magazine tells the stories of companies making strides within Atlantic Canada. APEX tells the stories directly from those who experienced it. Each edition also features an “up-and-coming” business (under three years) and an Atlantic-based non-profit (committing one full page ad for each edition). Each magazine also includes columns from industry specialists.
As a long-term goal, APEX strives to create an annual awards program focused on “the best of” our East Coast small business community. Also, a percentage of all ad revenue will support bursaries for students. APEX will offer coaching resources for business owners as part of a yearly peer event and will set up a website for accessible resources for businesses.
Backstopped by Editor Nick Cantar, APEX celebrates the journey of entrepreneurs, inspires optimism, and creates value through real storytelling.
Parkview News would like to congratulate the Publishers, Editor, and Writers, for creating this exciting new venture!
