Wharf Rat Rally
The 18th Wharf Rat Rally is ON! It is one of Canada’s largest motorcycle rallies, attracting thousands of motorcycles, riders and spectators to Digby Nova Scotia since 2005. This rally will make its full return on September 1 at the Digby Waterfront, Nova Scotia.
The Rally will be a welcome return for the region and communities, from the Annapolis Valley to the Southwest region. The 1.2 km stretch of the main street is closed to nothing but motorcycles and foot traffic, with events taking advantage of both the streetscape and the surrounding area. This year the Rally will be pulling out all the stops and the air of expectation is palpable.
Fall Hiking Festival
Looking for an outdoor adventure festival? Then head on to the spectacular Cape Breton Highlands located at Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia for the Fall Hiking Festival. This 10-day event will start on September 9 at the Cabot Trail and Northern Cape Breton that features guided hikes, evening activities & presentations, the hiker distance award, opening & closing ceremonies and a photo contest. They will also conduct activities for the Virtual Festival so don’t miss out!
Deep Roots Music Festival
Enjoy a variety of live music and performances that includes folk, roots, blues and world music by the Deep Roots Music Cooperative this September 21-25 at Wolfville, Nova Scotia! The members of the Deep Roots Music Cooperative come together through the love and fun of sharing music. They envision an enduring community, celebrating and enriching their culture through this music. They have a mission to create meaningful connections between cultures, community groups, artists and audiences by offering music-related events, programs and an annual festival. Their main intention is to present regular concerts, nurture local musicians, support other local arts organizations and worthy community projects and produce the annual Deep Roots Music Festival.
