With the emergence of online shops during the pandemic, different businesses now are more booming and being known because of social media. Public opinion towards services or products are more dependent now with feedbacks, presentations, packaging, ambiance and other twists that may or may not persuade consumers.
A big portion of our population is now registered in different social media platforms. This made business rethink on how would they reach more consumers through advertising. Big companies are also hiring social media managers that focuses only in managing the company’s social media profile and in promoting their products and services.
In line with this, the Halifax Chamber of Commerce is hosting a training on Social Media for Business. This is a 10-week program that will give you a chance to become a social media savvy. After this training, attendees will leave with a strong understanding as to what to post on Social Media, when to post it, how to schedule it to save time, how to design it, and how to read the data to ensure you’re maximizing your efforts.
At the end of this course, attendees will be able to learn how to optimize your profiles; what type of content works with real examples; what to write with your posts; create a content calendar; establish a brand image; graphic design for social media using Canva; and other tools and tips in social media managing.
The training in this program is Michaela LeBlanc. She has been educating people through this Social Media course for over 3 years. Through her business, Flocial Digital Marketing, she has been providing various local businesses with Social Media services, allowing business owners to focus on their business. They also provide Digital Literacy Workshops for the local CBDC & Southwest Employment Services. With her course, participants will develop skills towards becoming more comfortable, confident & efficient in using Social Media as a marketing tool for a business.
