Dakeyne Farm Sunflower Maze
Visit the Dakeyne Farm and get lost in the beautiful field of their Sunflowers. Aside from taking amazing pictures, you can also fly your kites, watch the butterflies, listen to the humming bees, watch the eagles play above the barn, or witness how the cows graze in the tall grass by the tidal river. This farm is owned by a small family. Maintaining their farm is not that easy so they are getting help from their cousins, and some aunts and uncles. This farm’s goal is to preserve it and its nature for all. They are located at Mount Denson and opens from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm every Sunday.
Riverbreeze Farm, Corn Maze, and Pumpkin U-pick
Witness the beauty and enjoy various activities at the Riverbreeze Farm and Corn Maze! This farm is Nova Scotia’s award-winning entertainment farm! They have acres of strawberry/ raspberry & pumpkin upicks, famous sweetcorn, fall strawberries and more! More people can enjoy in this farm thanks to their initiative to double their property size and adding new attractions. Some of their attractions are the Daytime Cornmaze, Pumpkin Patch, Roadside Stands, and the Dog Days of Summer. They are located at 660 Onslow Road, Truro, Nova Scotia.
Noggins’ Corn Maze
From September 10 through October 30, Noggins’ Corn Maze is open seven days a week. The price of admission is $12 per person, which gives you entrance to the rope mazes, duck races, washer throw contests, brainteasers, and barnyard adventure play area. Additionally, Noggins offers u-pick pumpkin and apples.
Windsor Corn Maze
Join the fun at the Windsor Corn Maze where they offer locally sourced produce, apple u-pick and a food truck to keep the fun going. This is managed by a group of family farmers who have a little bit of fun and wanted to share it! Their farm is located at 798 Windsor Back Rd, Windsor. Take Exit 5 off Hwy 101.
Dempsey Corner U-pick
Demspey’s Corner Orchards in Aylesford offers a pumpkin patch as well as a variety of other entertaining farm activities for children. Even better, you can pet a goat and choose your own potatoes, carrots, or beets! The cost of admission is $2 per person, which includes access to the petting zoo, the orchard, and fruit to eat while picking!
