According to saleforce.com, customer service is the support a company offers to their customers — both before and after they buy and use company’s products or services — that helps them have an easy and enjoyable experience with you. This support allows consumers to ask information or report a query regarding the services they receive. This can be in the form of calls, texts, emails, or any messaging applications.
Due to the pandemic, more and more workers tend to work remotely. One of the most common remote work is a customer service provider.
If you want to improve and be an excellent and expert in customer service, the Halifax Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Department of Labour, Skills, and Immigration; is providing a free online training titled Customer Service Excellence. This is a 10-week training program that will commence on September 29, 2022. After this program, learners will be able to learn and practice how to create service standards for an excellent customer experience; develop strategies for communicating effectively with current and potential customers; manage difficult customer situations; and create the best customer service that helps your business thrive in the years to come. Committed learners should attend the training through a computer, laptop, or a tablet.
The trainer is Georges Hanna, a Nova Scotian entrepreneur who started and ran couple businesses: a restaurant and four online platforms. He created a simplified solution using his method of “Reaching Beyond Your Local Market”. He did this while coaching and mentoring more than 9,000 entrepreneurs in Canada and overseas to start and grow their businesses. Today, he trains and coaches businesses to export their expertise and systems online, in the format of knowledge products.
