The Unicorn Theatre presents ‘Spooks’
Bring your loved ones and get in the Halloween Spirit with the Unicorn Theatre’s Halloween production of ‘Spooks’. Children as young as three up until around grade 5 or grade 6 can watch the program. It is necessary to pre-book and tickets cost $5. The Unicorn Theatre is a registered non-profit society which is totally run by volunteers under the guidance of a Board of Directors. It grew out of a drama camp held at the Shore Club in Hubbards on July 22 and 23, 1995. The directors of that camp (The Lion King) were so impressed with the talent shown by the campers that they decided to found a year-round children’s theatre. Watch the show October 29 at the Bay Community Centre, 11 Station Road, Head of St. Margaret’s Bay.

Halloween celebrations at Halifax Public Libraries will feature a variety of spooky activities, such as a Monster Mash Family Dance Party, craft projects, and costume parties galore! Visit the public libraries now and be amazed of their Halloween activities!
Bluenose Ghosts Festival
Get ready for a night of screaming with all the pumpkins, ghosts, and demons. The Bluenose Ghosts Festival is presented annually at Alderney Landing. It will start to operate at 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on October 7, 9, 13, and 31.
The Creighton Crypt Ride, Helen’s Shanty Escape Room, the scariest Haunted House in Metro, and spiritual readings performed by East Coast Scares at Alderney Landing are all part of this frightening celebration!
