For 20 years, Mitacs has supported ground-breaking research, provided internships for graduate students, and assisted businesses in attaining their objectives, producing outcomes that have boosted the Canadian economy and impact.
Mitacs is a non-profit platform that helps firms accomplish their objectives, whether they include assessing the effects of their projects or creating novel goods or procedures. They support you through the procedure, give money for projects (up to 55%), and link highly qualified researchers with the companies, non-profits, cities, and hospitals who need them.

Ryan Fielden, Manager, Internal R&D at NOVONIX Battery Technology Solutions., is quick to point out that NOVONIX’s internal R&D team was a direct result of Mitacs, which, through funding partnerships with organizations like Nova Scotia Business Inc., covered at least 50% of the innovation internships. Currently, three postdocs are interning there, and many more have already gone through the program.
