One of the highlights during Christmas Season is the lighting of our own Christmas Trees! In HRM, there are amazing tree lighting events that you and your family can enjoy!
Halifax Christmas Tree Lighting
You don’t want to miss the 2022 Halifax Tree Lighting Ceremony! It is a Downtown Halifax annual family event. The tree will be lit with Santa’s assistance. There will be fireworks, and the City Hall will host the world premiere of a brand-new holiday projection extravaganza. Additionally, PAW Patrol will make a special appearance, Jah’Mila, Rebecca Guilderson, and Stephane Gaudet will sing holiday tunes, and Team T&J will present a show just for youngsters. Bring the whole family at the Downtown Halifax this Saturday and be amazed!
Sackville Christmas Tree Lighting
On November 25, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., gather with friends and family to enjoy the holiday season in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. Everyone can attend this event for free! This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Sackville Business Association’s annual Sackville Christmas Tree Lighting in Acadia Park, 650 Sackville Drive. Community organizations in Sackville join together each holiday season to make sure the locals are happy by providing live music, snacks, a visit from Santa, and the lighting of the Christmas tree. At 6 pm, there will be seasonal music and tales inside the Sackville Public Library (636 Sackville Drive) before the lighting of the Sackville Christmas Tree!
Fall River Christmas Tree Lighting
Come see the annual Christmas tree lighting hosted by the Fall River and Area Business Association. Live music, giveaways, Santa, and a special guest will all be present to help you get in the holiday spirit. You and your family can enjoy live music from Tevon Tynes & The Superstatics; indulge with hot chocolate & timbits; and caroling from the Joyful Sounds Kids chorale! Be there at Fall River Dairy Queen!
Lights of Dartmouth Christmas
Take a Christmas stroll through Downtown Dartmouth to see the magnificent light shows. The annual tree lighting and fireworks display over Sullivans Pond can thereafter be enjoyed. You can enjoy live music on stage featuring the “Holiday” Roving Steins; visit with Santa at A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections holiday tent and many more! Bring your family and friends at Alderney Landing Events Plaza and Downtown Dartmouth this December 3rd and enjoy!
