Downtown Dartmouth Christmas Concert
Come spend an evening with some of your favorite local musicians listening to all your favorite Christmas tunes (and food). The show features Stewart Legere, “Dartmouth’s Songbird,” Thaydra Gray, and Kailing Glasgow from “Love, Peace & Hairgrease,” Tara Thorne from “Dance Movie,” Hello City members, and many more! Doors will open at 7pm on December 9th at the Eastern Front Theatre of the Alderney Landing.
Downtown Dartmouth in Nova Scotia’s Alderney Landing is home to a community cultural center, an art gallery, a market, an events plaza, and a theater. In May 1999, Alderney Landing first opened.
Glow Gardens Halifax
Until January 2nd enjoy the warmth of the season by smiling and having fun beneath the sparkling light of a million lights as you explore the light gardens and illuminated structures at the Glow Gardens Halifax! Santa’s Lost Presents is the theme for Glow Halifax in 2022, allowing visitors to stroll around illuminated pathways while celebrating the wonder of the holiday season and assisting Santa’s elves in locating the misplaced gifts among the lights. Ross Farm Christmas in the Country
Experience Christmas in the country by going back in time. Visit Rosebank Cottage to pick up sugar cookies and spiced apple cider and check out the farm workshop and schoolhouse crafts. As part of the Christmas festival, a craft and gift market will be hosted in the learning center on December 4 from 10:00 to 3:00. Horse-drawn rides will also be available if the weather permits. They are located at 4568, Highway #12, New Ross.
Musquodoboit Harbour Christmas Parade of Lights
Everyone is invited this December 3rd at the Musquodoboit Harbour for the 9th Annual Musquodoboit Harbour Christmas Parade of Lights!
Bring your family to this wonderful neighborhood event and join in the fun! Non-perishable food items, toys, and contributions of hats and mittens will all be collected for the neighborhood food bank. Don’t forget to bring your letters for Santa!
