North American Indigenous Games (NAIG)

More than 5,000 athletes, coaches, and team members from 756+ Indigenous Nations will come together at NAIG 2023 to celebrate, share, and re-connect through sport and culture. At 21 locations throughout the Kjipuktuk (Halifax), Dartmouth, and Millbrook First Nation, the Games will feature events in 16 sports. From July 15-23, participate in the historic festival of sport and culture in Mi’kma’ki, the Mi’kmaq Nation’s ancestral home.

The five-day, non-stop East Coast Music Awards: Festival and Conference (ECMA) is a musical event that honors and showcases the best East Coast musicians and artists.
The 35th anniversary of the festival marks a significant milestone for ECMA this year, providing an opportunity to highlight the past, present, and future of music in Atlantic Canada. Join us this year as we light up the stages with East Coast music from May 3–7 in the host city of Halifax, NS.
