Have the demands of daily life ever stopped you from moving forward? Do you want to progress, but struggle to take the next step to make it happen?
In March comes the promise of spring, fresh beginnings and warmer temperatures. It also may bring a realization that the resolutions or intentions set at the beginning of the year did not evolve as you planned.
Life can get very busy with so many demands on our time and expectations from others. Our good intentions to organize our homes and manage our belongings take an increasingly lower priority until we don’t even see the clutter anymore. That is, until we can no longer ignore it. It may be when family or friends are coming to stay.
It may be when the time comes to sell or move out of the family home. It may be an unexpected ill-ness, mobility issue or loss of a family member. And of course, the Covid-19 pandemic created a heightened awareness of our physical space after spend-ing so much more time at home. There are countless reasons why and how our homes become disorganized.
However, a professional organizer can work with you to create a plan to build organizing solutions specific to your needs.
There is no ‘one size fits all’ solution. Implementing organizing solutions into your home to support daily tasks and activities will allow the everyday functionality in your home flow more smoothly. Being organized will also help you prepare for those inevitable life changes and create more flexibility to adapt as households grow and change. Perhaps most importantly, organizing your household will celebrate the people who live there by making each place in your home relevant, reflective and purposeful.
Hiring a professional organizer may be a new concept for you. We feel like we should be able to handle organizing on our own. Yet we regularly bring professionals in to help us manage our household – for example a cleaner, a painter, an interior designer, a landscape artist. Truthfully, many people help us man-age our physical space, and a professional organizer is another resource to put purpose back in your place!
