The Halifax Chamber of Commerce is making a lot of effort to offer resources, information, and value to its members. In partnership with the Department of Labor, Skills, and Immigration, they are happy to provide a series of FREE online training courses to aid in the expansion of your business. Businesses, managers, and employees can take advantage of this program as a free membership benefit.
The 10-week Performance Management training course will begin on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, and run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on every TUESDAY.
You must fill out the Department of Labour Skills & Immigration’s required registration forms in order to register for the program. When you submit your forms, your trainer will receive your contact information and get in touch with you to do an individual needs assessment to make sure this training is a good fit for you and your company. After that, your trainer will serve as your main point of contact for the training and give you instructions on how to attend the sessions each week.

The trainer of this program is Genevieve MacInnis. With 20 years of experience in human resources, she has worked for both large global corporations and mid-sized Canadian businesses in both unionized and non-unionized settings.
In addition to having numerous degrees in Adult Education, Genevieve earned the designation of Certified Human Resources Professional in 2006. Around 1500 hours of HR, leadership, communication, and conflict resolution training have been taught by Genevieve.
