2nd Fairview Scouts is holding a Community Food Drive until May 22, to collect items for the community food cupboard in conjunction with the Kin Club.
The most requested items are: cereal; toothpaste & brushes; soap; deodorant; dish detergent; instant coffee; instant noodles; canned vegetables; pasta and sauce. In addition, we will bag larger items such as tea, sugar, salt, flour and rice.
We are also holding a Value Village fundraiser to raise funds for the Essex International Jamboree in England next summer. We are accepting donations of clothing, household items, toys and games, linens and accessories in saleable condition.
Donations for both can be dropped at Fairview United Church on Tues-Thurs nights between 6:30pm and 8pm, or pickups can be arranged through this email address: secondfairviewgc@gmail.com
Please note food drive donations are only accepted until May 22, but the Value Village donations are accepted until June 18.
