The Bays is dubbed as a home for Nova Scotia’s technology entrepreneurs. Some of the brightest technology entrepreneurs in the province congregate here, just minutes from downtown Halifax, to take advantage of these top-notch amenities.
You want your start-up to be in this position. Here, you receive all you need in a facility to obtain a competitive advantage in the worldwide market, from our practical business advice to enterprise-grade voice and data networks.
Infrastructural features and space are only part of The Bays. It is a neighborhood. It provides flexible leasing options, on-site assistance, and increased trustworthiness. It gives you all you require to concentrate on accomplishment and stick to your budget.
The Bays is excited to welcome Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) as its newest resident support organization.
One of the ten light industrial spaces, together with a few offices, are being occupied by the Applied Energy Research (AER) and SEATAC groups from NSCC.
For the problems faced by business in the actual world, NSCC Applied Research creates workable solutions. Their highly qualified research staff and network of students from some of the College’s most cutting-edge programs assist company improvement by enhancing processes, enhancing products, and expanding organizations.
SEATAC offers services for applied research and innovation that benefit the maritime technology industry. SEATAC helps firms create prototypes, address particular business difficulties, scale-up manufacturing, and offer training thanks to access to NSCC’s specific tools, resources, and knowledge.
Nova Scotia companies can apply for 50% of the cost to hire a student or recent grad (up to two years after graduation) to work on an innovative project through NSCC’s cooperation with Mitacs and with the aid of Mitacs Accelerate financing. To fill talent gaps, they aim to match graduates and co-op students with Invest Nova Scotia clients and other start-ups.
