IFCNS was formed in 2013 by a group of enthusiastic friends who wanted to highlight activities that could help to overcome cultural and community gaps.
The 20th Annual Northern Lights Lantern Festival
The Northern Lights Lantern Festival has highlighted North End Halifax since 2003. The Northern Lights Lantern Festival is a day of fun and creativity for people of all ages, when old friends meet new people. The festival honors the energy and diversity of Halifax’s North End. It is a true community festival where everyone is welcome. Admission, the BBQ, and the activities are all free. It’s a wonderful way to honor the North End as a community. So, gather your friends, gather your family, or come by yourself this Saturday at the Merv Sullivan Memorial Park at 5:00 pm.
