On Saturday, September 30, the Nova Scotia Forest Festival will be back at Memory Lane Heritage Village. The celebration, which will take place from 11 AM to 4 PM, will highlight the numerous ways Nova Scotians depend on their forests for food, shelter, pleasure, and cultural heritage. The Golden Axe-throwing Tournament, where local businesses compete against one another to see who has the skills, serves as the event’s grand finale.
Nocturne Halifax
The Nocturne: Art at Night Society, established in 2008, hosts the independent, free, contemporary art event Nocturne in Kjipuktuk/Halifax. The event showcases and celebrates the visual arts scene in Mi’kma’ki/Nova Scotia while bringing art and vitality to the streets of our city.
