Olena, from Ukraine, recently joined the very capable staff at Anna’s Salon in Clayton Park. Olena had been a hairdresser for twenty-three years in her hometown of Maribol, Ukraine, until the war there destroyed the city and forced Olena and her husband to flee their home and head for Canada seven months ago.
Now at Anna’s for five months, Olena has settled right in. Anna Landry, the owner of the Salon said, “Olena is a fabulous person, she’s friendly, and she really listens to her clients to find out what it is they want and makes sure they get the service they ask for”.
Olena and her husband had to leave behind family and friends who they miss dearly, but Olena said, “I am very grateful for the people who have welcomed me. My employer, Anna, my co-workers, and all the clients and friends I have made since arriving in Canada! While I miss everyone back in the Ukraine, our city has been destroyed by the war and we would love to make Canada our home!”
Olena is fluent in several languages and has a very pleasant personality. With that much experience in the industry, she has the experience and skills that allow her to perceive what it is a person is looking for and is able to provide an amazing experience.
