Meet your favourite author at AfterWords Literary Festival
An annual event that is registered as a nonprofit, the AfterWords Literary Festival is held in Kjipuktuk/Halifax. Ryan Turner and Stephanie Domet co-founded the festival, which had its debut in the fall of 2019 with twenty writers from Canada, the US, and overseas. It was a four-day event spread over six venues that included readings, conversations, panel discussions, workshops, and celebratory events.
53 writers and hosts from Canada, the US, and overseas are coming together this year for the AfterWords Literary Festival for readings and seminars at nine locations in Halifax and Millbrook First Nation. Up to November 5th, take part in readings, discussions, Q&As, workshops, and more with your favorite writers.
