Unicorn Theatre Presents Dear Edwina Jr.
A 1995 theater camp at the Shore Club in Hubbards served as the seed for the development of the Unicorn Theatre in St. Margarets Bay. Hubbard hosted the premiere of the theater’s inaugural play, Annie, in 1996.
The Unicorn Theatre now operates out of St. Margarets Bay’s Bay Community Centre and provides a comprehensive theatrical curriculum for students in grades three through eleven. They cast two main shows each year, one in the fall and one in the spring, through auditions. Dear Edwina Jr. ticket sales are currently underway. Family Literacy and Heritage Fest 2024
On April 27, 2024, the Family Literacy and Heritage Fest will take place! This free event, which is being hosted by Nova Noble Cause Society in association with Halifax Public Libraries, includes inspirational speeches, an art display, and cultural performances. Fun activities and interactive games will also be available, including a Kids’ Corner. Put pure family fun, literary study, and cultural enrichment on your schedules.
