One of the best months on the East Coast, November, is here. The snow usually stays away long enough for us to enjoy the final fall hikes, bike rides, and outdoor sports, and the colors of nature have changed to lovely subdued tones. Remembrance Day at The Citadel
On Remembrance Day, the 1st Field Artillery Regiment will fire a 21-gun salute at 11:00 am and a noon gun at the Halifax Citadel National Site. The Halifax Citadel is accessible to the public on Remembrance Day, and admission to the site and Army Museum is free.
