EV Chargers at Canada Games Centre
There are now four Level 2 Electric Vehicle chargers operational at the Canada Games Centre. Level 2 chargers are $1.80 per hour to use and initiated via the SWTCH app; you can find instructions on how to use them here: https://www.halifax.ca/about-halifax/environment-climate-change/electric-vehicle-strategy/using-a-level-2-ev-charger
The fast charger is still experiencing connectivity issues but I am hoping it will be fully operational very soon.

Snow Clearing and Winter Parking Ban
During snow events, all our equipment and operators work as quickly as possible to clear roads and sidewalks as efficiently as possible.

If the service standard has expired for your street to be cleared, please contact 311 and they can dispatch a plow. Before the service standard has expired, please be patient and give our crews time – we are working as quickly as we can.
Effective until March 31, 2025, the municipal overnight winter parking ban will be enforced from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. during weather events and snow removal operations.
