In these times we could use more people like Winston Churchill, the great statesman who managed to spur on England during one of its darkest periods . His words were inspirational when it came to fighting the enemy. His pronouncement ”Let us go forward together” is just as true today as it was then. Today we are in a similar time only the enemy is a virus. It boosts our immune system as well as our endorphins. Our mental health will thank us as well. The good news is this time around we can go in the parks but let’s not abuse it. Remember to wear your mask as you will be encountering other people. Recently, I went hiking in the Blue Mountain Birch Cove Lake Wilderness Park and I ‘ve never seen so many people. Everyone was so happy. It was a real high just witnessing this. It made me realize no matter how bad things get you cannot kill the human spirit. It is capable of conquering anything.
