Gather your courage and make memories with your family at the beautiful Shelby Ranch! Hop aboard the Haunted Wagon! Celebrate Halloween with your family every Friday and Saturday starting October 8, 2021. Book in advance so you can plan ahead. Shelby Ranch is located at 753 Durham Road in Scotsburn, Nova Scotia. A Western riding facility that offers a variety of services for beginner to intermediate riders from ages 2 to senior.
About the Event
The silver moonlight bathes the land as you approach the wagon parked in the centre of the path, huddled in the center of the family. Clutching your coat, a little tighter in the chill October breeze, you hop aboard… when something further ahead catches your eye.
The Headless Horseman and his ghostly steed stand a few feet ahead, but you and your family only manage a quick glimpse of the legendary myth before his horse rears and takes off into the fields ahead of you. As the wagon begins to follow his lead with a creak, random mumbles and whispers from the bushes give little warning of the ghouls and spooks that jump at your wagon from the sidelines. Howls and whinnies echo from further ahead– barely heard above the din of fear from your own cart!
But there is one comfort amongst the dark of the night… your own mighty steeds, faithfully guiding you through the fields of fright with bravery and courage! And as you return to the start of your path, having carefully navigated the perilous journey (where their majesty may just be stunning enough to outshine the Headless Horseman himself): you have survived the Haunted Wagon Ride, and shall go on with another amazing Shelby Ranch experience!
