Halifax Seaport Cider & Beerfest
The Annual Halifax Seaport Cider & Beerfest is back and now with Fizzfest! This year the festival is expanded to bring you a wide variety of refreshing hard seltzers, pre-mixed cocktails, and sodas for to try, in addition to their extensive assortment of delicious craft beers and cider! Enjoy the brews and souvenir glass with great tunes from DJ Lukas Stilldrunk from August 4-6 at the Halifax Seaport, 1209 Marginal Road.

Every Thursday night, visitors can enjoy a carefully curated Artisan Market at Sparkles n’ Sawdust Studio: 5239 Blowers St. in Downtown Halifax. There are many stalls and stores to choose from with 14 unique vendors, in-studio boutiques, tasty foods, arts & crafts and many more! The mission of this Nite Market is to provide a safe, supportive and friendly space for local makers and small businesses to thrive. It focuses the celebration of the 3 C’s: community, culture & creativity! Stores are open from 6:00 to 10:00 in the evening.
19th Annual Northern Lights Lantern Festival
Fill your nights with lantern because The Northern Lights Lantern Festival has returned! Bring your family and friends and enjoy a whole day of fun and creativity. The festival is a celebration of the vibrancy and diversity of Halifax’s North End. It’s a community festival in the truest sense where everyone is welcome. Enjoy activities such as bouncy castles, lantern making, carnival games, and a free community barbecue! Join the celebration on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 5:30-9:30pm at Merv Sullivan Park (the Pit), Halifax, NS.
Indian Fest
Indian Festivals Club of Nova Scotia (IFCNS) invites you to join and enjoy the incredible experience of Indian Culture with Food, Dance, and Music. The India Fest will have a variety of Indian food, clothes, Art & Craft, Jewellery and Henna. Come and celebrate with the events starting this August 12 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm at Multipurpose Room at Halifax Forum, 2901 Windsor Street.
