The debaters will thoroughly examine the advantages and disadvantages of both viewpoints in this Munk-style debate. At the conclusion, the audience will select the winner. Momentum in Atlantic Canada with Edward Greenspon
Learn more about “The Atlantic Canada Momentum Index” from the Public Policy Forum from Edward Greenspon. During the pandemic, when its strong leadership and social cohesion acted as a wake-up call to other Canadians, the Public Policy Forum’s optimism about Atlantic Canada was strengthened. The Public Policy Forum convincingly demonstrates in its Atlantic Canada Momentum Index that conditions, from the weather to the economy, have made Atlantic Canadians resilient and entrepreneurial, allowing us to become the shapers of our own destiny. These conditions include high vaccination and low infection rates, along with a historic turnaround in population growth and significant inroads in the innovation economy. Both present and past regional leaders can see that a new era is beginning. The Public Policy Forum (PPF), a national applied policy think tank created in the 1980s, is led by Edward Greenspon as President and Chief Executive Officer.
