Dempsey Corner Orchards
The Dempsey Corner Orchards carry on a custom that began in the year 2000. Visitors come to their family-run U-Pick Orchard in Aylesford every year to make cherished moments with their loved ones. Families can choose apples, maize, pumpkins, peaches, and plums at Dempsey Corner. Children can even dig their own potatoes, carrots, onions, or beets! The youngsters will adore riding the merry-go-round with the goats (goats are included!). Take advantage of the Petting Zoo, playground, tearoom, and bakery, which serves hot lunches, treats, jams, and of course, freshly baked pies.
Willowbank U-pick Farm
From September until the end of October each year, Willowbank U-Pick Farm is accessible to the general public. Visitors can harvest a variety of Fall crops at Willowbank Farm, a functioning farm. The Johnson family has engaged in agriculture for both business and pleasure for six generations. All of the family members now work on the farm as a “stress relief” from their regular jobs outside of Willowbank.
Bring your family to visit their family’s farm if you want to relieve your own stress. However, keep in mind that this is a functioning farm, so common sense and respect are essential.
