I would like to begin this month’s write up by extending heartfelt congratulations to all the students, teachers, and especially the graduates for their hard work and achievements this past school year. Whether you are heading to work, postsecondary or back to school in September, I wish you all a joyful and restful summer break.
Also this spring, I successfully organized two community clean-ups, making Fairview Clayton Park an even more beautiful place to live and play. Thank you to everyone who participated! Your efforts make a real difference in our community. If a provincial election is not called before then, we will be organizing another cleanup in the fall, so stay tuned for details.
On July 4th I was able to partner with the Farmers Market and Next Factor Entertainment for an ice cream social to celebrate the start of summer. It was wonderful to see so many people out enjoying the day and the fantastic vendors found each week at our market.
Residents should also have all received a community contact card in your mailboxes. It’s important to me that you have easy access to reach out with any concerns or suggestions and know what resources we have in our community.
I look forward to seeing you in the community this summer at the many events and activities that are planned and chat with you at the doorsteps as I continue my summer canvass check in. Your engagement is vital in making Fairview Clayton Park a wonderful place to live, and I’m here to listen and act on your behalf.
Thank you for your continued support and have a fantastic summer!
