Everything is slowly getting back to normal! Higher number of vaccinated citizens, lower number of cases, and events, sports, and establishments are opening! This is a very great timing for all of us specially that Christmas is just around the corner.
These concerts and shows will definitely make you and your family enjoy this season a little sweeter.
Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is back on stage in Halifax, at Neptune. This is its 18th year! Every Christmas it’s the story that will warm our hearts. Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future will remind us with laughter and tears that the true Christmas spirit comes from giving. The show runs from November 23 to December 26 at the Neptune Scotiabank Stage
There’s also a show for kids at Neptune Theatre Halifax-Alice in Pantoland. A show where your children can sing along with punchy pop songs, and zany antics as they take a trip down the rabbit hole this holiday season! The show starts on November 23 until January 9, 2022.
Are you a dancer, or just love dancing shows and acts? You can enjoy the magic of the season with music and dance for the holiday performance of “The Nutcracker” by the Coastal Dance Theatre at Alderney Theatre, 2 Ochterloney Street, Dartmouth. The show is on November 26-28.
The Central Zone players are also back for the show “It’s a Creeperston Christmas”. A fun, zany, music-filled, upbeat holiday show. This family-friendly holiday tale is sure to entertain the whole clan… join them if you dare on December 2-4 at 7:30pm! The show will be held at Alderney Landing Theatre, 2 Ochterloney Street, Dartmouth.
When there’s dancing, there is also a singing event! It will be a holly, jolly festive time as Matt Anderson hits the stage with his good pals Kim Dunn and Bruce Dixon offering up some classic and not so classic Christmas tunes. He also has special guests Reeny Smith and Fortunate Ones joining in the fun! Enjoy their music on December 16 and 17 at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium, Dalhousie Arts Centre.
Last but definitely not the least, watch Entertaining stories and new musical twists mixed with lush harmonies and intricate instrumental stylings by the Barra MacNeils East Coast Christmas shows! Join them for their 22nd Anniversary Christmas tour. The show is on December 19 at the Dalhousie Arts Centre.

All of these and more to enjoy! For more information about these events visit https://www.familyfuncanada.com/
